SPECIAL THANKS - I would like to thank Lori Parsons and all the children for the great job on the Christmas Program, “What Child Is This?” Thanks to all the adults who worked behind the scenes to make this a great program. Thank you to all those who helped put the pulpit furniture back in place. Thank you to the Christian Sisters for the great job of decorating the building.

SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE SUNDAY - Next Sunday is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. We believe that God created man in His image and gave him meaning and purpose and blessed him. All human life is sacred because of this. From conception in the womb to the elderly in the nursing home all human life deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. This is reflected in our giving to local ministries and missions abroad. Take a moment to reflect on the gift of life, abundant life, and eternal life that God has given to you. Share this gift with others through you generosity and sharing of God’s Word.

THE BEGINNING OF THE GOOD NEWS - Who is Jesus? What does this mean? Let’s take a deep dive into these questions as we begin a sermon series that will take us on a journey through the eyes of the witnesses to the Good News of Jesus Christ. Sermon series starts January 11th. Invite your friends to join us.

TEEN SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS - Sarah Kolseth and Alex Heath will be teaching the new Sunday School class for teenager. We welcome all teens. Class begins at 10:00am. Meeting in room #102.

VBS MEETING - Vacation Bible School is scheduled for June 12, 13, 14 next year. That may seem like a long way off but it will come quickly. The theme is “Dive into the Deep Blue with Jesus”. There are still a ton of details to work out so mark your calendar for January 11 @ 1:30pm for our next meeting. We will he having a soup and sandwich lunch for those who wish to stay and share in meal items.

SPEAKING FOR THE MASTER - Speaking for the Master will resume on January 11 during the Sunday School hour (10:00am) in room 202. We will be continuing on a working toward a preaching rally in March.

SERVING SCHEDULE FOR 2026 - Please pick up your serving schedule for 2026 on the table in the lobby. Please let us know if there are any conflicts or changes.

HOW TO MANAGE YOUR MONEY - This is a special class for couples or individuals who would like to learn the Larry Burkett system of managing finances. Class will begin on Saturday, January 24th, 2026. Please see Dale Evans if you are interested in joining. Space is limited. There is a materials fee of $30, church will pay half so it will only cost you $15 per couple.

SOUPER BOWL SUNDAY OFFERING - We will be taking up a special offering on Sunday, February 8th during the Sunday School and Worship. This money will be helping ASHE REALLY CARES to provide food over the winter for hungry families in our community. Please prepare to give generously.

OASIS BIBLE STUDY - Oasis Bible Study will resume on Thursday, February 5th with a fellowship meal at noon in the Fellowship Hall. We will have a lesson from The Mayberry Bible Study in room #201 at 1pm.

NEEDED CAPRI SUN (Roaring Waters) - BCX Children’s Program needs CAPRI SUN (Roaring Water), any flavor. They use theses each week. It would be great if you would pick up a few boxes and put them in the office. We greatly appreciate your support of the Children’s ministry here at BCCC.

BCX CHILDREN - The children will be meeting in room #101 for the Sunday School Hour at 10am. During Worship, The children will be dismissed for Children’s Worship around 11:30am. There will be songs, scripture, and activities.

JOIN US FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL: Join us each Sunday for Sunday School at 10am. We have two adult classes. One meets in the auditorium and rotates between our four teachers: Loren Lung, David Grubb, Tommy Parson, and Mike Grubb. We also have an alternative adult class in room 201 for those who like discussion format. The children meet in the Fellowship Hall for BCCC EXPRESS. Sunday School starts at 10:00am in the sanctuary.

PHONE TREE: The policy for the phone tree is to activate it for prayer request only upon permission or request of the family and to provide updates as the family provides them. We cannot pass on to you information we do not have or that we have not received permission to share. The administration of the phone tree is through Loren Lung or Amanda Thompson.

COMMUNION TO THE SHUT-INS: If you would like communion brought to your house please let us know and one of our men when come and serve communion to you along with prayer and a scripture reading.
