Our VBS Program for 2021

Not so long a go, in a Galaxy not Far Away at All, a war is raging. Master Paul and Luke Faithwalker need help to battle the dark forces of the evil Lord De Ceitful and his minion, Darth De Ception . The Counsel of the Way has set up a school to help young people stand firm in the faith!

Coming in July, we will have a kick-off event at the church Saturday July 10 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm

our VBS will be a weekly program presented Sunday evenings from 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Resistance Gathering July 10: 4-6pm: Our Kick-off program

Faith Wars : July 11, 18, 25; August 1: 3-5pm

The program will run August 3-7.

There is some info we would like to collect: (this will be done in a form that is being developed, so please check back .

Ashe Really Cares

The children and adults who attend our VBS programs have always dug deep and responded with love to the call of missions work and lending a helping hand. With this year's Virtual VBS we have decided to lend a hand to the people in Ashe County who are hurting because of the Covid-19 outbreak. There are many people who are in need of food at this time. So we have partnered with Ashe Really Cares in order to raise money and goods for ARC to distribute. We will be posting video links here to let you know more about the ministry of ARC. We are asking you to start now in collecting shelf-stable items like canned vegetables and fruit, peanut butter, cereal, dried beans, crackers, canned meat, etc. which you can drop off at our drive-through kick-off on August 2nd from 3 - 4:30pm. We will also be taking up an offering to benefit ARC.

We hope you can help us in this project!

Come Join Us for VBS!

Come and join Grandpa Dave, Tabitha, John, and Fishstix on a summer fishing adventure which will have you ready to go catch people for Jesus. We are excited to introduce you to "Gone Fishin'", a Vacation Bible School program which we have produced in-house at Beaver Creek Christian Church. There is not another church that will have a program quite like this!

There will be classes for all ages. Hope to see you there!

Welcome to Grandpa David's School of Fishin'! We're gonna have a great time learning about fish, whistling, singing, telling stories. We might even learn a thing or two about fishing for men! That's right... I know it sounds crazy... Come see what I mean.
